4Ravu L.L.C. (“4Ravu,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), a New Jersey limited liability company, operates MatchVane (“the Site” or “the Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information We Collect
We collect the account information you provide (name and email address), or that we receive from Google or Microsoft when you sign in with those providers. We also store the information you add to your Career Passport — such as work experience, education, skills, certifications, projects, milestones, portfolio links, location, professional headline, an “About” section, and links to your website, GitHub, LinkedIn, or other social profiles — as well as the resume content you enter into Resume Builder (work history, education, skills, contact details, and any other text you add). If you upload a profile photo, we store that photo. We also store your profile visibility selection (Private, Unlisted, or Public, described below). We use this information solely to display, save, and export your Career Passport and resumes on your behalf.
Public Profile Visibility
Career Passport includes an optional public profile page. Your profile’s visibility is controlled entirely by you, and defaults to Private. If you select Public, your profile page can be viewed by anyone with the link and may be indexed by search engines. If you select Unlisted, your profile page can still be viewed by anyone who has the direct link, but we do not submit it for search-engine indexing and ask search engines not to index it. If you select Private, your profile page is visible only to you. You can change your visibility selection at any time from within the app.
Cookies & Analytics
We use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. It reports anonymous, aggregate usage data only (e.g. which pages are visited and which actions, like exporting a resume, are taken). Beyond that, we use only essential session cookies required to keep you signed in.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use Google and/or Microsoft OAuth for optional sign-in, cloud infrastructure and database providers to host the application and store account, Career Passport, and resume data, and Azure Blob Storage to store uploaded profile photos. These providers process data only as needed to provide the Service and are bound by their own privacy terms.
Data Storage
Your account, Career Passport, and resume data are stored in a secured database. Uploaded profile photos are stored separately in a private Azure Blob Storage container and are not publicly browsable; they are served only through short-lived, signed URLs generated by our application. Data is retained for as long as your account remains active, or until you request deletion.
Your Rights & Data Control
You can edit or delete your Career Passport information, resume content, and profile photo, and change your profile visibility selection, at any time from within the app. You may request deletion of your account and associated data, or an export of your data, by contacting us (see Contact section below).
We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, Career Passport data, or resume content to third parties for marketing purposes.
Children's Privacy
MatchVane is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
International Users
MatchVane is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in the United States.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date above.
